Hi everyone. Demon’s Mirror Launches September 5th, 2024. That’s tomorrow! I wanted to give a quick shout before the big day since I haven’t updated the site or posted in forever. This game has been a journey, for sure. I feel like we’ve made a great game and hopefully you all agree with us after you’ve played it (no, it’s not a sh*tty mobile game). We have some QOL and balance updates planned for post-launch, and depending on how the game does we’ll be able to add a lot more content (hopefully!). We have so many cool ideas bouncing around for things we want to add that I really hope we get to keep working on it for a long time.
Some quick stats for Demon’s Mirror:

- 30 enemies

- 18 Difficulty modifiers (includes 5 beneficial and 13 negative modifiers)
- Dev time: Just shy of 4 years
- Number of publishers: 1 (Good Shepherd Entertainment, which is owned by Devolver Digital)
- Game Engine: Unity
- Team size: 2.5 core members + additional help + the publishing side (so many people, thank you all!)
- Number of Demon’s faced: A lot. A whole lot!
So much of that content is unique, too. Sure, a few of the cards do similar things like “Deal X damage”, but so many of them have a unique effect. That all takes so much time to develop. I’m surprised it only took us 4 years to pull off 😀
